Grid

It's a few days I don't put picture in the blog. My bad. I was on travel and didn't have much time (or willingness, if you prefer). But now I'm back to Italy and can put shots in a more stable pace.

Colors

This is the sky of Chicago. The only image processing action was to have the buildings shape darker in order to give more importance to the sky.
The colors are exactely how were in the real world.

Ghosts on the highway

Wants an abstract picture without no photoshop processing? Just sit in the passenger side of one of your friend's car, go to the highway night time and let the shutter stay open for 2 seconds and frame the cars running in front of you (red lights are cars toward same direction, white lights are cars going opposite direction). The rest is given by the regular mild shocks the camera has because the car is running (55 mph or 90 km/h).

This old homeless has wrinkles that gives him all the dignity that the powerful occidental civilization is trying to take away. Respect.

Sunset

This sunset interpretation was taken after an heavy summer storm in Torino. All the streets, the houses and the sky was painted with gold reflections. I hope to have captured the mood in this shot.

Fiat500

Another heavly processed image. This my interpretation of a famous Fiat car model. Supertele were used for the original shot and lot of histogram work on the three colour channels.
Some friends of mine have finally uploaded a couple of shots. Those picture are very nice indeed.

turtle

A turtle in the Genova aquarium. The photo was taken with no flash with a shutter speed of 1/30 and and 2.8 as Aperture Value.
This is a lucky picture because the the reflection due to the glass is really small.

Lights in the Space

This is just a light bulb in my living room but... doesn't it look like the light coming from a spaceship in the space? The idea is to use the light effetcs from my digital camera when nearly exposed to light sources. Enjoy!

Basil

Another picture taken with macro lenses. This is the basil I have in my balcony. I had good success in grow it. Soon this basil will become "pesto alla genovese" and will dress a dish of spaghetti.
The green coloured composition is very nice and the hue I obtained is satisfactory.

"Sarcazzi" is a quite invented word, I'm not sure what exactely it means but we often use it to indicate "stuff". I don't think you'll find its definition in any Italian dictionary :-) I use this blog to post some of my photos, just as an experiment. I hope also other friend of mine will populate this blog.
