Self portrait

Saturday. No work today, so I had the chance to have a little walk about my house. Sunny day, and very warm.
The picture has been heavly processed and the result was exactely what I had in mind.

Copper monochrome

Monochrome image today. Shooting during summer day light is often difficult: colors are flat and shadows very sharp. But this glittering copper pipe in red briks wall gave a nice effect. The image has been a little bit processed (enhanced contrast and gamma correction for red and green channels).

Dream

This dream like image has been obtained by framing a televisor illuminated by a warm diffused yellow light. The Exposure time was 3 seconds and the camera has been rotated by 180 degrees during the capture.

Sardinian mask

The first post. Just a trial. This is a Sardinian traditional mask. These masks are made of wood, they commonly represent wild animal spirits or deamons. I liked the black and white contrast of this shot.

"Sarcazzi" is a quite invented word, I'm not sure what exactely it means but we often use it to indicate "stuff". I don't think you'll find its definition in any Italian dictionary :-) I use this blog to post some of my photos, just as an experiment. I hope also other friend of mine will populate this blog.
